Objective

One objective when considering investment in a new production line is to streamline the production of diesel engines and increase production capacity by allowing individual assembly times. Another important objective is good, safe working conditions by using Solving’s air film technology.

Flexibility

When choosing the transport system, air bearing technology provided a flexible solution allowing maximum use of the floor surface and changes to be carried out at a later date, if required, at minimal cost.

Result

The air bearing system eliminates floor wear and provides very good working conditions and flexibility required by the customer. The air film transporters are essentially smoother than a conventional transport system; they make little noise and cause no dust problems.
