Equipment

The AGVs are equipped with automatically adjustable lift forks to ensure handling of all sizes of pallets. The AGVs are also fitted with maintenance free lead batteries and automated battery chargers for continuous operation, thus only one at a time is being charged. The batteries can also be exchanged manually if necessary.

Control and safety

The AGVs use wireless communication via a radio modem to the control system. The most common status and error messages are displayed clearly on a graphic display panel. Safety is guaranteed by laser and electromechanic bumpers, emergency stop buttons, photo cells, audible signals and warning lights.

Result

Fitted with lead batteries and automated battery chargers at “home” positions the new AGVs have contributed to a more efficient production.
